Paratus Health is building the AI-powered operations layer for outpatient clinics: agents that handle calls, intake, insurance, and documentation, fully integrated with EHRs like Epic and Athena.
We’re backed by Y Combinator and investors behind GitHub, Notion, and Vanta. We’re already live in hospitals (including Stanford), saving 8+ minutes per patient interaction and earning 90%+ satisfaction. Now, we’re scaling.
We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to help us architect and scale the future of healthcare automation. You'll be an early technical leader, working closely with the founders to ship products end-to-end, from AI voice agents to insurance verification and EHR integrations.
This is not just a job, it’s a chance to build something meaningful from the ground up.
Paratus Health is transforming patient intake so doctors walk in fully informed and patients feel heard before the visit even begins.
Founded by Stanford AI engineers and backed by Y Combinator, we’re solving a problem we’ve lived ourselves: broken, inefficient patient intake. We’re an early-stage startup moving fast and hiring passionate people who want to reshape healthcare.
If you’re excited about tech, healthcare, and meaningful impact, we’d love to meet you.
Paratus Health is the AI operations layer for outpatient clinics. We build autonomous agents that don’t just assist staff - they replace them, fully handling front desk calls, patient intake, insurance verification, documentation, and billing prep. Everything is deeply integrated into EHRs like Epic and Athena, eliminating the need for fragmented tools and manual work. No toggling between systems. No busywork. Just one intelligent system running your clinical operations - faster, smarter, and more profitably than ever before.
