We are an intense, tightly-knit team based in Lower Haight, San Francisco. Our customers range from fast-growing startups to established enterprise companies, and we obsess in listening to each of them and helping them succeed. Our development pillars are security, reliability and performance, combined with pragmatism to always find working solutions and be ultra-responsive to customer feedback and requests. Working both at the infrastructure and product level, we strive to build correct, future-proof solutions with great taste. As a founding engineer, you will be directly engaging with our customers and will be working with all of our stack, which is currently: TypeScript, Supabase, Vite, Next.js, Vercel, and Effect. Topics will include: concurrent systems, modular service infrastructure, text processing, RAG, database optimization, LLM engineering, logging and telemetry, CI/CD, integrations with third-party systems, frontend. We expect you to be very experienced with most of these.
14.ai operates brands autonomously. Our software runs the core machinery of a modern company, from demand generation to fulfillment to customer relationships.
The next iconic brands will run with far fewer people, tighter software loops, and much more operational intelligence. Our system connects acquisition, operations, support, and decision-making across the brands we build into one intelligent layer.
We use 14.ai to launch and run our own brands, improve the system in production, and make brand creation faster, measurable, and more programmable with every cycle.
