We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer with at least 2 years of experience who is ready to make AI actually work in the real world. You will be the product for the client, owning the entire technical delivery from start to finish. We need an autonomous problem-solver who can fly to a clinic, learn complex workflows from non-technical staff, and translate that knowledge into a perfect AI implementation for their practice. If you thrive on being on-site and seeing your work directly impact users, this is the role for you.
What you'll do
Own technical delivery end-to-end. You are the product for the client. From initial site visit through 4-week pilot to conversion and beyond.
Fly to clinics and learn workflows. Spend 1-3 days on-site understanding every detail of how a practice operates — scheduling, referrals, insurance, screening, charting. Translate what you learn into structured knowledge bases that power our AI agents.
Configure and deploy AI agents. Set up TriFetch's voice AI agents (Linda, Sarah, Maya),referral processing pipeline (OCR, patient creation, eligibility, prior auth), and EHR glassover lay for each client.
Integrate with EHR systems. Work with Epic, eClinicalWorks, Athena, Practice Fusion, and others. Figure out what's possible, build the integration, make it reliable.
Be the technical point of contact. During pilot and post-conversion, you own the technical relationship. When something breaks at 7am before the clinic opens, you fix it.
Travel 50-70% of the time. Clinics in Redding, CA. Clinics in Kentucky. Wherever the next deployment is. You go there, you get it done, you come back.
Build tooling and processes that make the next deployment faster. You're not just deploying — you're building the playbook for how TriFetch scales.
Handle PHI securely. Access and store PHI only in HIPAA-compliant TriFetch infrastructure. Follow TriFetch's data classification and retention policies.
Practice secure access & system hygiene. Enforce least-privilege access, store all secrets in GCP Secret Manager (never exposed in code, version control, or messaging tools), and keep devices encrypted/patched with audit logging enabled on PHI systems. Ensure PHI systems log access, modification, and deletion events.
Complete required training & adhere to policies. Complete annual HIPAA Privacy & Security training and TriFetch security awareness training. Acknowledge and adhere to TriFetch's Acceptable Use Policy and related security policies upon hire and annually thereafter.
