About the role
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with 3+ years of experience (also open to exceptional new grads) to join Multiply as an early engineer and help build the AI-native platform powering self-learning growth ads for B2B companies. You'll work directly with the founders at a 14-person, $9.5M seed-stage startup backed by Mayfield, Sorenson Capital, and leaders from Google and Instacart — shipping fast, owning features end-to-end, and shaping the product and engineering culture from the ground up.
What will you be doing?
- Build 0→1 product features end-to-end (idea → build → deploy → iterate) with high autonomy and speed
- Design and ship systems that embed LLMs and AI agents into core ad platform workflows
- Collaborate directly with founders and the strategy team to understand customer problems and propose solutions — think beyond code
- Use AI-native development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) as a core part of your daily workflow to move fast
- Help shape engineering culture, tooling, and technical direction as an early team member
Key Requirements
- Full-stack proficiency — TypeScript, React, Node.js preferred (Python/Java background acceptable if you can ramp quickly)
- AI-native developer: actively uses AI dev tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) daily — not as an afterthought
- Product-minded and self-directed — comfortable working with ambiguous requirements, filling in gaps, and talking to internal stakeholders without detailed specs
- For experienced hires (3-5+ yrs): startup or founding engineer experience strongly preferred; prior work with AI agents in production is a strong plus
- For new grads: internship at a recognizable company is a must-have; familiarity with AI tools and LLMs required
