Phone calls have long had a bad reputation. All of us have been stuck in long waiting queues, dealt with unhelpful support agents, or listened to endless hold music. Even though voice is the most natural way to communicate, it has never scaled for businesses.
We believe that every B2C company in the world - from energy providers, to telecoms, to insurances - will have AI voice agents that interact with their customers. The number of business-to-consumer conversations over the phone is going to explode in the coming years. As LLMs get better and better it will become an absolute no-brainer to use voice agents to provide consumers with a great experience.

identify the right prospects and engage with them
drive outreach across multiple channels including email, linkedin and phone
automate manual work with an AI-first approach
interact directly with potential customers, build demos and help them succeed
work closely with Badr, Ennie, Romy, and William and Philipp
you are hands-on and not afraid of doing unglamorous work
you're tech- & automation savvy and can learn new tools fast
you love solving problems and figuring things out on your own
you’re a strong communicator in both English and German
you’ve have initial (internship) experience and/or worked on side hustles or projects
you're done or at the end of university and could imagine starting full-time after the internship
you have never touched automation/AI tools or don’t have basic technical understanding
you only want to do high-level “strategic” work
you aren’t comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once
you don’t enjoy working directly with customers or in dynamic environments
you’re only looking for a typical 9–5 internship
Telli is a startup that launched at Y Combinator and has grown to over $2M in annualized revenue. The company has a team of 12 and is led by founders Finn (CEO), Philipp (COO), and Seb (CTO). The founders previously ran contact center operations for Enpal's heat pump unit, bringing hands-on operational experience to telli. Telli’s website is telli.com.
