About Cartesia Our mission is to build the next generation of AI: ubiquitous, interactive intelligence that runs wherever you are. Today, not even the best models can continuously process and reason over a year-long stream of audio, video and text—1B text tokens, 10B audio tokens and 1T video tokens—let alone do this on-device. We're pioneering the model architectures that will make this possible. Our founding team met as PhDs at the Stanford AI Lab, where we invented State Space Models or SSMs, a new primitive for training efficient, large-scale foundation models. Our team combines deep expertise in model innovation and systems engineering paired with a design-minded product engineering team to build and ship cutting edge models and experiences. We're funded by leading investors at Index Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners, along with Factory, Conviction, A Star, General Catalyst, SV Angel, Databricks and others. We're fortunate to have the support of many amazing advisors, and 90+ angels across many industries, including the world's foremost experts in AI.
About
the Role Cartesia is building the future of real-time audio intelligence, and we're looking for a sharp, hungry go-to-market generalist to help us grow. You'll own early pipeline generation end-to-end — running high-velocity outbound, building deep account plans on strategic targets, and taking a methodical, research-driven approach to breaking into some of the most important companies in the world. You'll work directly alongside Account Executives and GTM leadership, and get exposure to some of the most interesting AI buying conversations happening right now. If you want to learn enterprise sales from the ground up and grow fast, this is the seat. Your Impact Drive outbound pipeline through a combination of high-volume prospecting and deep, multi-threaded account strategies targeting Fortune 500s and digital-native companies alike Build detailed account plans for strategic targets — mapping stakeholders, identifying entry points, and developing sequenced outreach that goes well beyond a single cold email Execute disciplined outbound sequences (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn) with strong messaging and rapid iteration based on what converts Develop a genuine point of view on target accounts — their business model, tech stack, and where Cartesia fits — before ever sending a message Hand off to AEs with clean context, clearly identified pain points, and next steps already scoped Contribute to GTM strategy by surfacing what you're hearing in the market and where opportunities are emerging Hit and exceed pipeline targets with a bias toward quality handoffs that actually close What You Bring Recent college graduate or 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-output environment Relentless drive and a bias toward action — you find a way through obstacles rather than around them, and don't wait for permission to move Exceptional written and verbal communication — you can craft a cold email that doesn't sound like one Confidence and ease engaging with anyone, regardless of seniority — you're as comfortable cold calling a VP as you are striking up a conversation at an event Research obsession — you go deep before you go wide and know how to turn information into a point of view High personal accountability with a scrappy, figure-it-out mentality Genuine curiosity about AI, developer tooling, or the companies building with emerging technology Coachability — you take feedback fast, apply it, and don't repeat mistakes Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university, with strong academic performance in a rigorous field of study
Nice to Have Background in investment banking, venture capital, or strategy/operations — you know how to read a company, identify decision-makers, and think in systems Experience with outbound tooling (Apollo, Outreach, Clay, or similar) Exposure to enterprise sales cycles or B2B SaaS, even in an adjacent capacity Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities without losing attention to detail Prior experience building something — a project, a club, a side business — that required selling an idea to skeptical people What We Offer 🍽 Lunch, dinner and snacks at the office 🏥 Fully covered medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees 🏦 401(k) ✈️ Relocation and immigration support 🦖 Your own personal Yoshi Our Culture 🏢 We’re an in-person team based out of San Francisco. We love being in the office, hanging out together, and learning from each other every day. 🚢 We ship fast. All of our work is novel and cutting edge, and execution speed is paramount. We have a high bar, and we don’t sacrifice quality or design along the way. 🤝 We support each other.
