Paragon is building the infrastructure layer that powers integrations for modern SaaS companies.
We help teams ship and operate integrations faster by providing a scalable platform for authentication, data sync, actions, and operational reliability - so product teams can focus on their core product instead of integration complexity.
Our customers range from fast-growing startups to large enterprises, and our platform is used to run mission-critical integrations in production.
What you’ll do
- Define Paragon’s open source and ecosystem strategy as a long-term product, adoption, and commercialization motion.
- Determine what should be open source, what should remain commercial, and how those boundaries support both developer adoption and enterprise revenue.
- Partner closely with founders, engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to shape how open source fits into Paragon’s broader company strategy.
- Develop the operating model for open source at Paragon, including governance, contribution standards, release philosophy, compatibility expectations, and community engagement.
- Build the internal decision-making frameworks needed to evaluate tradeoffs around openness, adoption, support burden, product differentiation, and monetization.
- Help shape how Paragon packages, positions, and brings open source initiatives to market over time.
- Think through how Paragon can build a broader ecosystem around its platform, including contributors, partners, and developers building alongside us.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure the parts of the platform that may become open source are technically and operationally ready when the timing is right.
- Act as Paragon’s internal expert on open source strategy, commercialization models, and ecosystem development.
