We’re looking for software engineers who want to build the future of engineering operations with us. This is explicitly a hands-on role — we expect roughly 70% of your time to be spent writing code and building core systems, with the remaining 30% on architectural guidance and mentoring.
The core of the work spans two areas: our data platform — which connects to engineering data sources across the SDLC and powers the analytics and insights we surface to customers — and our context engineering pipeline — the next-generation infrastructure we're building for surfacing context to AI agents operating in software delivery environments.
Our backend engineers tend to be self-directed, so mentorship here is less about unblocking and more about technical direction and raising the bar on code quality across the team.
Responsibilities
At Faros AI, we are reshaping the way engineering organizations operate, with an engineering intelligence platform that provides visibility and context across the organization's software delivery systems. This deep operational context supports engineering leaders today, and is increasingly essential as AI agents begin to operate within real software delivery environments. Faros AI is laying the foundation for how humans and AI will build software together in the years ahead.
