As Legal Analyst, you'll support two teams — Commercial & Marketing and IP — getting to work alongside some super inspiring people within the legal department and across the company. You'll join a motivated and fun team that works on a diverse array of matters spanning licensing, commercial contracts, advising on marketing issues, and gaming partnerships. As part of this team, you will be responsible for independently managing key projects, collaborating with the team on complex matters, and helping the team figure out how to do its work better — including finding smarter, AI-powered ways to deliver legal support. What You'll Be Doing Commercial & Marketing Support Respond to or escalate requests from internal partners in product, business, and marketing who need Legal support. Train clients on the contracting process and tools, and ensure that the correct process and approvals are in place for each deal. Independently negotiate non-disclosure agreements with external partners using well-defined processes, standard templates, and established playbooks. Advise clients on basic commercial, marketing, and business legal concepts; review and edit marketing materials and external communications with oversight. Negotiate and redline marketing, influencer, and consulting agreements using established playbooks with minimal oversight. Support the IP team across various areas, including trademark portfolio research, IP clearances, and brand enforcement workflows. AI Innovation & Process Improvement Leverage your prior work experience to help drive implementation of a new contracts management system to ensure smooth adoption across different functions. Maintain and improve legal and cross functional resources, including directories, playbooks, policies, and other key documentation. Serve as the day-to-day administrator and point of contact for the team's CLM/contract management system, including troubleshooting, user support, workflow configuration, and creation of training materials. Identify process improvements or efficiencies across the team's work and drive related projects to completion. Evaluate emerging AI tools for legal work — assessing fit, reliability, and risk — and make recommendations to the team on what's worth adopting. Design and implement AI-powered workflows that make legal work more efficient and scalable (e.g., contract review assistance, self-serve resources, automated intake). Candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties). For this role, the Hiring Manager would like folks to be in the office 1 day a week. The US base salary range for this temporary position is $108,000 to $121,000 (prorated based on tenure) + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
