The Growth Lead owns demand generation end-to-end to drive signups and demo calls into an about-to-launch PLG motion. This is a growth-focused role, distinct from product marketing and DevRel.
Responsibilities include building and operating all systems, processes, and programs related to growth and marketing — including blog, events, social media, content strategy, and partnerships.
The role is heavily focused on community, evangelism, and events. The ideal candidate is technical enough to be credible with a devtools/observability audience but is not expected to code demos or conduct technical walkthroughs (engineers will handle DevRel). The company is not yet PLG but is building the remaining features and new pricing/billing to support PLG and self-serve within the next month. The hire is expected to be PLG-curious rather than a PLG veteran — walking into a motion that is about to turn on, not running an established self-serve funnel.
Sazabi is an AI-native observability platform for fast-moving engineering teams, founded in 2025 and part of Y Combinator's Spring 2026 batch. The platform replaces traditional dashboards and manual monitors with chat-based interfaces and AI agents that analyze logs to surface and investigate production issues automatically. Its mission is to become the default observability solution for companies of all sizes in the AI era by rethinking observability from first principles—conversational, intelligent, and built for teams who ship fast.
