Operations Manager, Belgium Department: Operations Employment Type: Full Time Location: Brussels Reporting To: Operation Lead BNL Compensation: €55,000 - €65,000 / year Description Upway is hiring an Operations Manager among its Operations team in the Benelux. The Operations team’s role is to create the largest and highest-quality e-bike offering for Upway shoppers, by sourcing the best e-bikes, refurbishing them and delivering them to their new owner in a seamless customer experience. The Operations Manager will be responsible for owning entire parts of operational flow, managing teams in our warehouse, building processes to optimize operations, analyzing data to understand and bridge gaps, and working closely with the rest of the company to provide best in class experiences to customers. What you will do Lead a team of 20+ warehouse associates, with plans to double team size next year Design, build, and own key parts of the end-to-end operational flow Drive a strong customer-first mindset in all decisions and processes Deliver consistently high-quality warehouse performance, day after day Design, implement, and continuously improve processes to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency Build and maintain tools and dashboards to ensure full visibility on performance Collaborate cross-functionally to support rapid growth and expansion Lead by example and foster a high-performance team culture What you will need Strong academic background (engineering, finance, business or similar) 2–5 years experience in Operations, Finance or similar Strong bias for action and speed of execution Fluent in English; French/Dutch is a plus Clear communicator with leadership ability in a warehouse environment Analytical and hands-on: solves problems fast and gets to root cause Thrives in fast-paced, high-change environments High ownership and accountability for results Detail-oriented with a drive for operational excellence Proactive, resilient, and willing to go the extra mile Creative, tests fast, learns fast, improves fast Benefits Upway operates in 5 countries in Europe and the US, with the support of prestigious investors including Sequoia Capital, Global Founders Capital and Exor.
