About
the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency across multiple areas, including expenses, cash, and international entities bookkeeping. Your
responsibilities will include month-end close activities, account reconciliations, international entities accounting, financial analysis. You will also support process improvements, collaborate with external auditors (Big 4), and help drive operational efficiencies. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Accounting while working closely with the broader finance and accounting team. What You’ll Do Month-End Close Prepare and post journal entries, maintain account reconciliations, and prepare and contribute to the month-end close package Conduct variance analysis and clearly communicate trends and discrepancies to senior team members International Entities Own end-to-end bookkeeping and month-end close for international subsidiaries, ensuring all accounts are fully reconciled Manage intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and related balance sheet reconciliations Support statutory compliance
requirements across jurisdictions in coordination with external advisors Accruals Prepare and maintain accrual journal entries for US entity at month Partner with FP&A and business owners to validate estimates, explain variances, and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis Cash Reconcile cash accounts, including third-party payment processors, on a monthly basis Investigate and resolve reconciling items, escalating systemic issues to process owners Audit & Process Improvement Support the annual audit by preparing and organizing PBC documentation for external auditors (Big 4) Identify and drive accounting process improvements with a focus on scalability and efficiency Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives in a rapidly evolving environment What We’re Looking For Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or startup environment High attention to accuracy, detail, and problem-solving skills Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis Excellent communication skills — comfortable working cross-functionally at all levels Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first environment Preferred CPA certification or active candidacy Big 4 or public accounting experience Experience with multi-currency accounting and foreign subsidiary bookkeeping Proficiency in NetSuite Spanish language proficiency The listed Pay Range reflects the total cash
compensation inclusive of annual base salary and annual
bonus as applicable. For sales roles, the range provided is
the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales
bonus target and annual base salary for
the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Apollo and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience,
