About the role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team and build production agentic systems at scale. You will be a strong individual contributor with a co-founder mindset, helping us push the frontier of what's possible with Agentic workflows in Healthcare. We need someone who can take powerful platform capabilities, design multi-step workflows, and ship them to production to directly impact patient outcomes on our AI-powered care orchestration platform. Roughly 60-70% of your time is deployment-focused; the remainder is platform contribution: building reusable workflow primitives, improving shared infrastructure based on patterns you see across customers, and shaping how we architect agentic systems at scale.
What will you be doing?
- Design, build, and ship multi-step, multi-modal agentic workflows (voice, SMS, video, chat, web) tailored to specific customer use cases.
- Own systems end-to-end from requirements gathering and technical design through production deployment and monitoring.
- Partner with Customer Success and stakeholders to translate operational needs into robust agentic workflows.
- Identify reusable patterns across deployments and contribute them back to our core platform, improving shared tooling and infrastructure.
- Operate with a trade-off mindset to ship good product fast, helping us meet our commercial commitments in a high-growth environment.
