LineLeap is how people get to the fun, faster. We’ve built the platform that lets customers skip the line, pay cover, order drinks, and buy tickets at their favorite bars, clubs, and venues… and we’re just getting started. Our vision is to become the must-have platform for all purchases, discovery, and fun at the world’s top venues and events.
We are building a world-class software engineering team that is pushing the boundaries of what modern consumer software development looks like. We are looking to add a highly experienced software engineer that will be instrumental in building breakthrough products for LineLeap’s 2 million (and growing) users. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on building and shipping high-impact features that will meaningfully move the business forward.
A core expectation of this role is heavily leveraging cutting-edge coding and automation agents to build production-grade features quickly, explore and prototype new ideas, and automate the delivery and maintenance of complex code. The role is not about owning an AI platform or building standalone AI features, but about applying AI pragmatically to accelerate product development and create better outcomes.
This is a high ownership, hands-on role for someone who wants to build with ambition and see their work directly impact the business. There will be no people management in this role.
**Build and ship high-impact product features
**You will design, implement, and iterate on new product features to be used by millions of people. You will take ideas from concept to reality, owning the production and refinement from end to end.
**Use AI to accelerate development and problem solving
**You will use AI tools extensively in your workflow to prototype faster, reason through complex problems, explore and test design options, and increase development velocity. You will be a key part of setting a high bar for what exceptional AI-assisted engineering looks like in practice.
**Own work end to end
**You will be responsible for technical design, implementation, testing, quality, and maintenance of the features and products you ship. You will think about maintainability, extensibility, and scalability of features, not just short-term delivery.
**Work closely with product and engineering partners
**You will collaborate with other engineers and product partners to turn ambiguous and ambitious ideas into beautiful and robust software. You will own clarifying scope, surfacing tradeoffs, and making sound technical decisions.
**Move quickly without lowering the bar
**You will balance speed and quality, shipping fast while maintaining a strong standard for reliability, performance, and code health. You will do this with the most innovative AI-enabled tools and techniques for creating high-quality products.
Experience using our stack is not necessary for this role, but you are expected to have worked on consumer products with a modern frontend and backend. That said, we use Flutter for our mobile app, TypeScript for our web apps (Next.js) and backend, and GCP for hosting. We use a combination of Firebase and PostgreSQL for persistence and manage our infrastructure with Terraform.

LineLeap participated in Y combinator in the summer of 2019 and has acquired over 1 Million customers to date. LineLeap's long term vision is to be the must-have platform for all purchases, discovery, & fun at the world’s top venues & events while being the first choice for brands to connect with consumers.
