Who you are: 5-7+ years of software engineering experience with a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience working with Ruby. Please note we have technical challenges for engineers with 10+ years of experience operating at Staff/Principal level and you are also welcome to apply if you are in this category. Experience with test-driven development. Extensive experience integrating external APIs. Deep understanding of distributed systems principles. Experience working with microservices and/or service-oriented architecture. Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of Kubernetes from a software engineering perspective. Experience working with public cloud providers (GCP is preferred). Good understanding of relational and non-relational database principles. Hands-on experience in designing robust REST APIs. You are fluent in English, both verbal and written.
