About the role
We are looking for Senior Solutions Engineers with strong engineering depth (DevOps, AppSec, CI/CD) to join our team in London. You’ll be the technical lead in Enterprise sales cycles — a Solutions Engineer with a big “E” in engineering and a small “S” in sales: able to read code, understand vulnerabilities, work with CI/CD systems, and communicate clearly with senior technical stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
- Becoming an expert on Semgrep and integrating it into customer CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and AppSec programs.
- Running technical discovery, diagnosing issues, and advising on solution design.
- Owning Proof-of-Value cycles end-to-end — defining success criteria, configuring environments, and delivering technical wins.
- Writing or adapting Semgrep rules to identify vulnerabilities and demonstrate product mastery.
- Explaining Semgrep’s technical differentiation to security engineers, DevOps teams, and executives.
- Reducing customer friction by improving demo setups, automation, and educational content.
- Partnering with AEs (2:1 ratio) to support enterprise deals (~$140K ACV; 6–12 month cycles).
- Helping scale a high-performing Solutions Engineering team through process, enablement, and best practices.
