What These Roles May Involve Depending on company needs, future Social Media Manager roles may include: Content Strategy & Creation Developing and executing a high-quality content strategy for Instagram and TikTok aligned with Wonderschool’s mission Creating engaging, inspiring, and educational content (Reels, Stories, TikToks, carousels, etc.) Crafting content that inspires child care providers to pursue high-quality programs and financial freedom Developing parenting content that encourages and supports caregivers Creating messaging that empowers educators to grow their income and careers Staying current on trends in early education, neuroscience, finance, and digital marketing Community Growth & Engagement Building and nurturing an engaged community through comments, DMs, and conversations Developing relationships with influencers, educators, and child care advocates Identifying and testing growth strategies to increase followership, particularly among women aged 20–30 Leveraging user-generated content and collaborations to expand brand reach Analytics & Performance Optimization Tracking and analyzing performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, etc.) Running experiments to optimize content formats, hashtags, and posting cadence Sharing regular insights and recommendations to improve performance and impact What We’re Generally Looking For Strong storytelling skills and the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences Proven experience growing and managing Instagram and TikTok accounts Deep understanding of social media trends, formats, and best practices Data-driven mindset with comfort analyzing and optimizing performance Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social, Hootsuite) Passion for education, child care, and financial empowerment Comfort working independently with high ownership and creativity Compensation (Future Opportunities – California) For future Social Media Manager roles based in California, the expected compensation range will vary depending on scope, level, and employment type (full-time, part-time, or contract).
