Software Engineer (Flight Dynamics) Intern

As a Software Engineer (Flight Dynamics) Intern, you will join our Ground Segment Team, contributing to the development of software that underpins satellite mission design, planning, and operations. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering and space systems, supporting capabilities such as orbit determination, manoeuvre planning, and mission analysis. You will work on a modern, cloud-native platform, building scalable services that enable autonomous satellite operations. From early design through to deployment, you will take ownership of features and contribute to systems that directly impact both our missions and customers. What You'll Be Doing Build and maintain software for satellite operations Develop flight dynamics capabilities and tools Work across the full lifecycle: design → build → deploy Collaborate with engineers, operators, and systems teams What You’ll Bring Strong foundations in maths, physics, or a related field Practical knowledge of Python, Go, or similar Solid software engineering fundamentals Interest in space systems / orbital mechanics For this role you can be based in any of our locations To apply, you must have the legal right to work in your chosen location.
