We match great people to great companies, faster than any recruiter alive. The product works. What we don’t have enough of is people out there finding the talent and putting it in front of our clients.
That’s this job. You find outstanding candidates, get them onto Standout, and get them intro’d to companies that will hire them. Every step of that pays you.
What you actually do all day
Hunt. LinkedIn, GitHub, Discord servers, university clubs, WhatsApp groups, alumni Slacks, in person at meetups. Wherever the good ones are hiding.
Reach out cold and get replies. Dozens a day, not five.
Get them signed up and their profile complete.
Push intros to our client companies and chase them until someone books an interview.
Ring the bell when they get hired.
You will be measured on four numbers, on a leaderboard, updated live: outreach sent, signups activated, intros accepted, hires made. Everyone sees everyone’s.
Where you work
San Francisco, five days a week in the office, is the default. We’re small, we move fast, and that works best in a room. For an exceptional person based in France we can make it work remotely and build the team there — after at least two weeks of onboarding with us in SF.
Who this is for
Sales, recruiting, startup, or none of the above. We don’t care how many years you have or where you did them. We care that you are hungry, over-motivated and want to win.
You’ve competed at something seriously. Sport, debate, chess, sales floor, poker, anything with a scoreboard and a loser.
You get a genuine kick out of watching a number go up and figuring out what moved it.
You’d rather send 200 messages and learn what works than write the perfect one.
Rejection annoys you for about four seconds.
Don’t apply if you want a playbook, a ramp period, or a manager checking in. We’ll teach you the product in a week and then you’re on the board.
Applications go through Standout, who introduce you to the team.
