Play, learn & share the music you love. AI-powered audio transcription into sheet music, MIDI & piano roll for musicians
We are an AI-lab dedicated to building frontier models for music learning and education. We develop consumer products around our models to make them accessible for musicians globally. Our mission is to empower musicians worldwide to play and learn the songs they love and our first step in doing so is making professional music transcription accessible to everyone. Musicians know this frustration: you hear a song you love, but can't find the right sheet music to learn it. We're solving this challenge with AI. Our flagship product is a web app that allows users to upload their audio file, YouTube link, or live recording, and get it back as sheet music, MIDI, and piano roll ready for learning, performing, or creating something new. Today, Songscription supports 500K+ musicians, educators, and learners across 180+ countries, with accurate transcription for piano, guitar, violin, flute, and more instruments on the way. We imagine a world where songwriters spend less time transcribing and more time creating and sharing music. Educators have access to arrangements designed for their students and ensembles. And millions of musicians feel inspired to pick up their instruments more often, supported by resources tailored to their level.
