Atlas is building a new health system for patients with chronic health conditions that modern medicine has no answers for.
Chronic illness has doubled in the last two decades. Over 100 million Americans are affected, and for many of them, there are no FDA-approved treatments — hundreds of conditions where primary care doctors simply can't help because there's nothing in the literature. These patients are left to figure it out on their own, and most of them end up on Reddit, crowdsourcing answers from strangers, sifting through anecdotal stories, and running unstructured self-experiments based on what someone online said worked for them.
