Working onsite for the load in, event run, and strike. PAY RATE $400/day
ABOUT
THE ROLE The Event Supervisor will report directly to the Event Manager and manage the overall organization, planning and staffing for all guest facing staff operations and services to ensure a world class delivery and exceptional customer service. They will work with a local team of 15-20 each night, lead local decisions in regard to all guest facing services, and must be able to follow procedures set out by the Global team. DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the overall organization, planning and staffing for guest facing operations to ensure a successful event and positive guest experience Be in an event control position and communicate with all departments Work with Fever Ops On-site Coordinators regarding all ticketing operations and the set up of the POS systems at each point of sale Resolve customer complaints, concerns & general needs. Responsible for pre-show and post-show checklists Liaising with the local labor providing company for staff assigned to FOH and Retail Operations Validate employee schedules and time sheets. Maintain and encourage staff performance and growth over the course of the experience Crew/Staff welfare- ensure shift patterns are running smoothly & breaks are implemented. Management of all related work and facilities– e.g. toilets, cleaners, bins Maintain & manage the on-site equipment, ensuring all health & safety standards are followed Communicating with vendors to ensure smooth operations (custodian, security, F&B, Merch operator, etc) Overall control of the site in the event of adverse weather conditions- ensuring all wind management and safety plans are adhered to Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures across all functions, including but not limited to; Security, Medical, Car Parking, Guest Experience, Accessibility and Staffing PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS At least three years previous experience managing large outdoor festivals, Illumination trails or outdoor experiential events. Understands the necessity of keeping guests engaged in a fully immersive, in-world experience Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and lead others while holding them accountable for results Strong communication skills, including the ability to work cross functionally with all levels and teams Ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm and professional manner. Must have people management and interpersonal skills. Solutions-oriented Exceptional observation skills. Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed Current First-Aid certification is a plus. Must have experience in using Google Drive and the Google suite of applications including Sheets, Word, Google Meetings. Visa/permits - The candidate must be able to work in the event country and achieve one of the following: (1) Already a citizen/resident in the country and is permitted to work.
