Member of Technical Staff (Applied AI Engineer)

We are looking for an Applied AI Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join Vibecode — the app that builds mobile apps — as an early team member helping shape the next frontier of AI-powered product development. You'll be working at the cutting edge of AI agent technology alongside a team that went from $0 to $10M ARR in under a year with just 8 people, in close partnership with Anthropic as one of their smallest and most innovative case-study customers.

What will you be doing?

• Build and improve Vibecode's custom AI agent — the core product powering mobile apps, web apps, and soon custom business agents for non-technical users

• Ship full-stack TypeScript features end-to-end across a fast-moving two-week sprint cycle, owning features from idea to production

• Work closely with Anthropic's latest models and APIs, getting early access to unreleased capabilities months before the market

• Collaborate cross-functionally — talk to customers, triage support escalations, and surface product ideas directly from user feedback

• Optionally build your personal brand by creating content (YouTube, Instagram) about what you're building — the team's content is a core growth channelKey Requirements

• Extensive, professional TypeScript experience — the entire codebase is TypeScript; Python-only engineers will struggle

• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM APIs (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI) or strong demonstrated curiosity — actively building AI-powered projects, staying on the bleeding edge

• Product engineer mindset — you ship features, not just research; ML/data science-only backgrounds are a red flag

• Deeply curious, low ego, and hungry to grind — comfortable with ~50–60 hour weeks (Mon–Fri); this is not a 9-to-5

• Demonstrated initiative outside of work — active GitHub, side projects, or open-source contributions that show you build for the love of it
