About the role
We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with 2–6 years of experience to own and scale Vibecode's custom-built platform stack as we grow from tens of thousands to millions of daily active users. You'll be the founding infra hire at a company that hit $10M ARR with 8 people — taking full ownership of proprietary sandboxing, deployment, and multi-cloud systems all written in Go.
- Design and implement secure sandbox environments for running untrusted AI-generated code at massive scale
- Build orchestration systems for stateless containers that can spin up 10,000+ apps concurrently
- Architect backend API services that handle real-time code generation, compilation, and deployment
- Create monitoring and observability systems for complex, multi-tenant application infrastructure
- Design auto-scaling systems that handle unpredictable traffic patterns from viral consumer apps
- Build security-first infrastructure that isolates user applications while maintaining performance

VibeCode, operated by Not a Number Labs Incorporated, is an AI-powered mobile app development platform that lets users build fully functional iOS and Android apps using natural language prompts — no coding required. Users describe their app idea, and VibeCode's AI agent generates a working app that can be iteratively refined and published directly to the App Store and Play Store. The company's mission is to democratize software creation for entrepreneurs, indie hackers, and small businesses.
