Lead the hardware manufacturing of products/program/s through the different phases of the product lifecycle. Strategically specifies and evaluates dimensions and process
requirements to enhance production line quality and efficiency, develops capabilities for end-to-end manufacturing, drives lean manufacturing, investigates trends, and proactively mitigates production risks. Lead a cross functional team within the Manufacturing team in a fast pace and complex environment to ensure partner site readiness, identify and manage build risks, drive for mitigations and lead manufacturing gate reviews. Able to leverage experience and engineering skills to solve problems, fill gaps and achieve objectives through a cross functional team. Maintain manufacturing relationships and operations excellence with external partners and suppliers. Oversees the standardization of manufacturing processes across supplier sites, drives continuous improvement, ensures supplier performance compliance, and implements dashboards for operational efficiency. Defines modeling techniques and projection models to optimize production capacity and resources, leads failure analysis methodologies, and reviews specifications for compatibility. Leads efforts to resolve systemic issues, influence technology investments with suppliers, and develops risk mitigation plans. Be comfortable and efficient in interacting with management team, highlighting risks and providing recommendations to support product level decisions. Bachelor's Degree in engineering: Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or any related engineering degree. 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment /repair OR equivalent experience. Proven leadership, management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills including L1/L2 Triage Capability Proven interpersonal and communication skills, and experience working effectively with all organizational levels. Proven experience prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure, fast-faced environment. Ability to speak or read in Chinese (Mandarin) Fluency in English (written and spoken) Engineering experience in designing and/or manufacturing the parts and assemblies used in datacenter hardware. Additional experience and knowledge in the server industry product development process will be significantly advantageous. 8+ years' experience managing cross-functional and cross team projects Server compute, storage, GPU and networking product development or manufacturing experiences Ability to analyze and interpret data statistically and to translate statistical data into business narratives that enable executives to make timely and informed decisions.
