About the role
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with 2–12 years of experience to own and grow the web platform at the heart of Charge Robotics' solar farm construction operations. This is a true full-stack role — you'll be the primary owner of a customer-facing web application that's already live and servicing real deployments, with a laundry list of features waiting to be built. You'll also take ownership of DevOps and CI/CD infrastructure, enabling the broader software team to move faster. Charge is a 30-person, in-person startup with real traction, overwhelming customer demand, and a mission that actually matters — building robots that accelerate the world's transition to renewable energy.
What will you be doing?
- Owning and expanding the customer-facing web application (Sunrise Studio) — building new features end-to-end in React (frontend) and Python (backend) on AWS infrastructure
- Building tools to prioritize and surface the most important QA data and images generated daily by robots in the field
- Developing frontend interfaces to replace manual backend scripts — e.g., enabling new solar projects to be imported via the web UI
- Setting up monitoring and uptime health checks for production services
- Owning and improving CI/CD infrastructure to enable the broader software team to ship faster and more reliably
