For more information : https://www.evidentscientific.com/en/ Job Description Primary Purpose Evident Scientific is creating a new position within the Enterprise Technology and Innovation Team to architect, accelerate, and enforce enterprise-wide master data management (MDM), including data architecture, data quality management, and seamless cross-system data sharing. As Evident establishes a new data governance structure, this role requires a high-caliber leader to serve as the core driver and member of Evident’s Data Governance Council. You will partner with business leaders across core functions to ruthlessly prioritize and enforce standards, hierarchies, and quality metrics that align with global business objectives Job Duties IT Master Data Management (MDM) Leader We are seeking a decisive, high-energy IT MDM Leader with deep cross-system expertise (SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake, and other enterprise platforms) to lead and accelerate enterprise master data initiatives from strategy through execution. This is a high-visibility leadership role focused on governance, prioritization, and business transformation—not software development. The ideal candidate will drive enterprise MDM strategy with urgency, influence executive stakeholders, remove organizational roadblocks, and ensure master data initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities Leadership & Governance Lead the Data Governance Council, driving executive alignment on data ownership, standards, and governance decisions. Prioritize enterprise MDM initiatives across IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Operations based on business value, risk, and resources. Serve as the primary escalation point for project risks, ownership conflicts, and execution challenges. Lead end-to-end MDM initiatives, including SAP MDM implementations, data migration, cleansing, governance, and MDG deployments, with accountability for scope, budget, and timelines. SAP MDM Strategy Define business
requirements for SAP master data (material, customer, vendor, finance) and ensure technical solutions align with business goals. Oversee data quality, governance, and migration activities across SAP ECC and S/4HANA while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards. Translate complex technical concepts into business value and build organizational alignment. Team Leadership & Delivery Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of business analysts, data stewards, SAP functional leads, and external partners. Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and execution throughout UAT, cutover, and hypercare. Manage vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet quality, scope, and timeline expectations. Qualifications 10+ years of IT project/program management experience, including 5+ years leading complex MDM initiatives in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments. Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional programs and influencing executive stakeholders. Deep expertise in SAP master data (material, customer, vendor, finance) with the ability to challenge technical teams and guide business decisions. Strong knowledge of data governance, prioritization frameworks, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet. Preferred Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 7+ years of SAP and enterprise application management experience. Leadership experience within manufacturing or Order-to-Cash environments is strongly preferred. Key Attributes Bias for action with the ability to make timely, data-driven decisions.
