About
the team We are responsible for the overall health, performance, and scaling of server equipment and networks in our data centers all around the world. 20+ global sites across the USA, Europe, and Asia 1500+ servers and storage systems 250+ network equipment units
Responsibilities Hardware Operations: Perform upgrades, repairs, and maintenance on company server equipment in data centers (both remotely via “remote hands” support and through on-site business trips) Logistics & Procurement: Manage the procurement and global logistics of necessary components and spare parts for servers and network equipment Vendor Management: Act as the point of contact for colocation data centers and network service providers Asset Management: Perform hardware discovery, track inventory, and maintain accurate equipment data in our configuration database (DCIM/CMDB) Security Compliance: Ensure all hardware and data center operations comply with the company’s security policies Lifecycle Management: Manage and deploy firmware updates across all server infrastructure Capacity Planning: Monitor and optimize the efficient usage of leased services, power consumption, and overall capacity Provisioning: Implement and maintain Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) services Automation: Write and maintain scripts to automate equipment configuration and inventory processes System Administration: Administer and maintain equipment management and configuration systems What makes you the perfect fit Hands-on experience working with server hardware and data center environments Practical experience using DCIM/CMDB systems. Solid understanding of networking technologies (equivalent to CCNA level). Strong experience administering and configuring Linux server environments Proficiency in automation and scripting (Bash, Python). Technical English (ability to read documentation, communicate with global vendors, and write technical reports).
