About the role
Implement and maintain AI-powered features and agentic workflows that help the agent understand workbook context and user intent, owning feature delivery with minimal guidance. Contribute to feature and technical designs, evaluating performance, scalability, reliability, security, and cost considerations with guidance from experienced engineers. Develop and execute feature test strategies, including unit, integration, regression, security, and AI evaluation tests. Use telemetry and evaluation results to help confirm that features work reliably and meet defined quality expectations. Monitor feature performance and iterate based on data and customer feedback, using established practices such as feature flags, success and guardrail metrics, safe rollouts, and rollback mechanisms. Use AI-assisted development tools in a disciplined manner to support engineering productivity and code quality, reviewing, validating, and taking responsibility for AI-generated code, tests, and other engineering artifacts.
