About the role
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer with 0-5 years of experience to join a 5-person team building the AI agent cloud — helping enterprises like Domino's, major banks, and governments deploy internal agents at scale. You'll have massive ownership and autonomy as an early engineer shaping the core platform primitives (evals, observability, sandboxes, and more) at a YC-backed startup experiencing tremendous growth.
What will you be doing?
- Owning high-level problem statements end-to-end — from architecture decisions through implementation — with significant autonomy
- Designing and building core infrastructure primitives for agent deployment (sandboxes, observability, evals, benchmarks)
- Working across the full stack (Python backend, TypeScript/Next.js frontend) with a 70/30 backend focus
- Collaborating directly with customers when needed to understand requirements and push solutions
- Proactively identifying what needs to be built next and driving product improvements
