About the role
About the Role
As Provider Growth Manager, you will own the growth of our provider network, composed of therapists, addiction counselors and peers. Our providers deliver digital addiction treatment to our patients every day, across all 50 states. This is a hybrid player-coach role: you'll personally run point on our highest-priority provider pipeline while also building the playbook, tools, and coaching structure that a growing recruiting team will run on. You'll be one of the first people a prospective provider interacts with when considering Birches, and you'll also be responsible for making sure every future recruiter on the team can deliver that same experience at scale. You'll report to the VP of Operations and partner closely with the Provider Support, Clinical, Marketing, Network, Strategy, and Product teams. This role is ideal for someone who has run a high-volume recruiting or sales/BD pipeline personally and is ready to start building and coaching a team around themselves, without giving up the parts of the job that require being in the details with candidates.
What You’ll Own
Own the pipeline
- Serve as a dedicated point of contact for high-priority provider applicants, building deep fluency in Birches' value proposition, licensure requirements, and hiring process
- Lead outbound recruiting efforts to top-priority prospects via personalized outreach across email, phone, and video
- Manage offer creation, negotiation, and closing for candidates in your pipeline via our ATS platform
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics (funnel conversion, time-to-offer, acceptance rate) to identify where the process is breaking down and opportunities for improvement Build the team and the playbook
- Hire, onboard, and ramp new Provider Growth Associates as the team grows
- Coach reps on call and outreach quality, diagnosing what's holding each person back and building a plan to address it
- Own the team's activity scorecard, spot negative trends early, and turn them into coaching moments
- Document and continuously improve the recruiting playbook based on what you learn running the pipeline yourself Drive cross-functional improvement
- Partner with Provider Support, Clinical, and other teams to close the feedback loop between candidate experience and hiring outcomes
- Use CRM data to surface insights that inform both your own prioritization and the team's focus
- Represent the voice of the provider candidate internally, pushing for process changes that improve conversion and experience
What We’re Looking For
- You have 3+ years of experience in high-volume, client-facing activities such as recruiting, outbound sales, business development, or consulting, ideally with some experience mentoring, training, or managing others
- You're comfortable owning a personal pipeline and a team's development at the same time
- You have a strong grasp of pipeline fundamentals: hygiene, input metrics, funnel conversion, and what good coaching actually looks like
- You're fluent in ATS and CRM data and use it to know exactly where to focus your energy, not just to report numbers up
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and build trust quickly with both candidates and teammates
- You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and are energized by the idea of building the playbook while executing it, not intimidated by it
- You're a strong problem-solver who can think on your feet and design creative solutions to process bottlenecks
- You lead with data but never lose the human touch
- You're a clear communicator with high EQ, equally comfortable delivering tough feedback to a teammate and a hard "no" to a candidate with care
- Bonus: you have experience recruiting licensed clinicians, therapists, or other healthcare providers, or have worked in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or telehealth Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 annually including above-market equity and benefits. If you're interested in this role, please email [email protected]. Compensation is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
