Shape a blockbuster AAA title from the ground up. Your Role We are seeking a Senior Gameplay Programmer to help craft an immersive and highly interactive world. Your role will focus on creating core gameplay systems, improving player interactions, and optimizing mechanics for our survival city-builder.
Responsibilities Develop and refine core gameplay mechanics such as combat, crafting, movement, and automation. Work on procedural world generation and resource management mechanics. Collaborate with designers to implement engaging and intuitive gameplay features. Optimize performance for seamless open-world experiences. Debug, test, and polish gameplay systems for a AAA-quality experience.
Requirements 3+ years of gameplay programming experience Strong proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine 5 Experience with at least one of: physics interactions, AI behaviors, or multiplayer mechanics Knowledge of procedural generation and automation systems Strong debugging and optimization skills Passion for survival and city-building games Ability to work onsite in Munich, Germany Valid EU work authorization What we offer The opportunity to work on an ambitious AAA title.
