About the role
Alinea is building the next generation of investing infrastructure and are looking for a high octane, hands-on Head of Engineering to lead the
technology vision and execution. This is a unique opportunity to architect and scale a modern, AI- powered fintech platform from the ground up—
owning everything from core systems and data architecture to product velocity and engineering culture.
We’re seeking a deeply technical leader who can operate at every altitude—from writing code and making architectural decisions to building and mentoring a high-performing team. This role will own the end-to-end technology strategy across platform, data, and AI, partnering closely with the founders to define the roadmap and bring a highly personalized, real-time investing experience to life.
What will you be doing?
- Architect and scale a modern, AI-powered fintech platform, owning the end-to-end technology strategy.
- Lead, build, and mentor a high-performing engineering team while remaining hands-on in the code.
- Drive product velocity and establish best practices for code quality, testing, and releases in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Improve the reliability and observability of real-time systems, including trading, pricing, and portfolio updates.
- Partner with the founders to define the product roadmap and bring the company's vision to life.
