About the role
We are looking for a Business Systems Lead with 8-10+ years of experience to own and integrate Plaud's HR and Finance platforms as the company scales at a breakneck pace. You are a self-driven systems expert who has deep hands-on experience with NetSuite and Rippling, and you thrive in fast-growing environments where you can drive the roadmap for system integrations. You'll act as the connective tissue between HR, Finance, and engineering — defining data contracts, leading migrations, and turning fragmented platforms into a single source of truth. This is a high-impact, greenfield opportunity at a profitable company that hit a $250M+ revenue run rate in just three years.
What will you be doing?

Own system administration, configuration, and user access management across Rippling, NetSuite, and related HR/Finance platforms end-to-end

Define the roadmap for system integration projects — setting data contracts and requirements that integration engineers build to

Lead the migration of data from legacy systems (including ByteDance-developed platforms) to new, US-centric automated systems like NetSuite and Rippling

Partner with HR and Finance stakeholders to collect requirements, understand process changes, and ensure platform integrity, controls, and compliance (GDPR/PIPL, segregation of duties)

Evaluate vendors and systems, manage technical documentation, and drive data governance and quality control across all business platforms
