This role will be a strategic finance partner at the center of our business operations. This is a highly visible, individual-contributor-to-lead role with a clear path to Senior Manager or Director. Working with the CFO, you will own the annual operating plan, drive monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles, and build the analytical infrastructure that helps our executive leadership team make data-driven decisions across Sales, Product, Customer Success, and R&D. If you are energized by translating complex healthcare SaaS unit economics into actionable insight — and thrive in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment — this role is for you. This role requires the candidate to be located in mainland US and have a valid work authorization. We are not able to provide visas.

responsibilities: Financial Planning & Forecasting Own the annual budgeting process and rolling 12-month forecast across all departments and business units Maintain and continuously improve the three-statement financial model (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Produce monthly and quarterly reporting and variance analyses versus budget and prior periods, with clear narrative explanations Build and maintain scenario and sensitivity models to support strategic planning and investor discussions SaaS Metrics & Healthcare-Specific Analytics Own and evolve core SaaS KPI reporting: ARR, MRR, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), CAC, LTV, payback period, magic number, and Rule of 40 Develop cohort-based revenue and churn models segmented by product line, customer vintage, specialty, size, and geographic market Analyze healthcare-specific revenue streams including per-provider subscription tiers, usage-based billing, implementation fees, and professional services revenue Business Partnership & Decision Support Serve as embedded finance partner to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product leadership Develop succinct reporting, analysis, and insights of results to date vs budget and historical periods Build go-to-market financial models including territory planning, quota setting, sales capacity modeling, and pipeline coverage analysis Support make-vs-buy, build-vs-partner, and geographic expansion decisions with rigorous financial frameworks Reporting, Tools & Process Excellence Design and maintain an executive-ready financial dashboard — Board-ready packages produced on a monthly and quarterly cadence Manage company reporting across all stakeholders – executive team, board, lenders, and investors Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of FP&A tools to automate and streamline reporting (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Planful, Mosaic, or comparable platforms) Partner with Accounting to ensure clean close processes, proper revenue recognition under ASC 606, and alignment between actuals and management reporting Establish and document FP&A policies, planning calendars, and workflow standards that can scale with company expansion M&A and Strategic Finance Support Assist with financial due diligence, integration modeling, and investment return analysis for potential acquisitions or partnerships Support fundraising and debt processes by building and reviewing lender/investor models and preparing data room financial exhibits What you bring to
the role: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field; MBA or CFA strongly preferred 5–8 years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 2 years in a SaaS or recurring-revenue technology business Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred — familiarity with EHR, health IT, or digital health business models is a plus Expert-level financial modeling skills: you build models from scratch, stress-test assumptions, and can defend every line to a CFO, CEO, or Board Deep fluency with SaaS metrics and the underlying drivers that move them Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with at least one dedicated FP&A or EPM platform (Adaptive Insights, Planful, Mosaic, Anaplan, etc.) Strong data manipulation and analysis skills; experience managing and transforming large data sets; experience with SQL or working with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI a plus Working knowledge of NetSuite, Salesforce, and/or other enterprise systems Exceptional written and verbal communication — you can distill complex analyses into clear, executive-ready narratives and slides High integrity, discretion with confidential information, and a collaborative working style Core Competencies: Strategic Acumen - Connects financial data to business strategy; anticipates second-order implications of decisions Analytical Rigor - Zero-tolerance for sloppy reporting or models; structures problems clearly and checks work obsessively Business Partnership - Builds trust with non-finance stakeholders; pushes back constructively without being adversarial Communication - Writes and presents clearly for executive audiences; makes complexity accessible Ownership Mindset - Takes end-to-end accountability; doesn’t wait to be asked to surface problems or opportunities Adaptability - Thrives in a fast-moving SaaS environment where priorities shift and ambiguity is normal
