About

the Role:</strong></p> <p><strong><br></strong>As a <strong>Data Analyst II</strong>, you will work within the Post Sales Organization, partnering with Customer Support & product teams to deliver high-quality reporting and analytics. You will be responsible for building scalable dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making, and ensuring leadership has visibility into business-critical KPIs. This role requires strong technical expertise in SQL, Salesforce analytics, and data visualization tools, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using <strong>HEX, Retool and Salesforce native reporting tools</strong>.</li> <li>Write advanced <strong>SQL queries</strong> to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets across multiple systems.</li> <li>Partner with Customer Support, Product, Services, and Sales Engineering leaders to translate business needs into clear data

requirements and insights.</li> <li>Drive data consistency and accuracy across reporting platforms to ensure leadership visibility into KPIs.</li> <li>Provide deep-dive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and process improvement areas.</li> <li>Support cross-functional initiatives by building scalable, automated reporting solutions.</li> <li>Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to ensure alignment on data sources, definitions, and governance.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>5+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence</strong></li> <li>Strong proficiency in <strong>SQL</strong> for querying and data transformation</li> <li>Expertise in <strong>HEX or Retool</strong> for dashboard development and storytelling (Preferred)</li> <li>Strong business acumen & KPIs knowledge for Pre & Post Sales functions such as Support, Sales engineering, services / customer onboarding and customer support</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting/dashboards</li> <li><strong>Python/R</strong> for data manipulation and automation</li> <li>Prior experience supporting <strong>Customer Support, Services, or Sales Engineering organizations</strong></li> <li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p data-pm-slice="1 1 []"><em>Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motive's core values.
