About
the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Store executive – Logistics & Chemical Inventory to manage warehouse operations and inventory for our R&D facility in Attibele. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in store management, logistics coordination, and the safe handling and storage of chemicals and laboratory materials.
The role requires a strong understanding of inventory control, compliance
requirements, and chemical storage practices to ensure smooth R&D operations. Key
Responsibilities Manage day-to-day store and warehouse operations for the R&D facility. Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, chemicals, consumables, and equipment. Ensure proper storage, segregation, labeling, and handling of chemicals according to their compatibility and hazard classification. Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishment. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including vendor deliveries and material dispatches. Maintain all relevant documentation, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), stock registers, delivery challans, and inventory reports. Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records. Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory
requirements related to chemical storage. Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS) and ensure their accessibility within the facility. Coordinate with R&D, procurement, quality, and operations teams to support ongoing projects. Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adherence to 5S practices. Required
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Warehouse Management, or a related field. 2–6 years of experience in store management, warehouse operations, or logistics, preferably in chemical, pharmaceutical, specialty chemicals, or R&D environments. Basic understanding of chemical classifications, hazardous materials handling, and storage
requirements. Knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP platforms. Familiarity with MSDS/SDS documentation and EHS regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting. Understanding of chemical compatibility and segregation
