We are seeking a technically driven Quality Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working hands-on with engineering and production teams, and troubleshooting manufacturing and product quality issues. The Quality Technician will support manufacturing operations by performing inspections, investigating defects, assisting with root cause analysis, validating corrective actions, and ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality
requirements. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude in electronics manufacturing, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to interpret engineering documentation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Essential
Responsibilities Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues using systematic problem-solving techniques. Work directly with Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Production, and Quality Engineering to resolve product and process issues. Analyze product failures and assist with root cause investigations using methodologies such as: 5 Why Fishbone (Ishikawa) Pareto Analysis Support nonconformance investigations and documentation. Verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for effectiveness. Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and work instructions. Assist Engineering with New Product Introduction (NPI), pilot builds, engineering changes, and validation activities. Perform basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting using test equipment such as: Digital Multimeters Oscilloscopes (preferred) Continuity Testers Functional Test Equipment Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation. Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving manufacturing efficiency. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001
requirements, company procedures, and customer quality standards. Required
Qualifications Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, Quality, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, quality, or manufacturing engineering support. Strong understanding of electronic components, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), and electro-mechanical assemblies. Experience troubleshooting manufacturing and product quality issues. Ability to read and interpret: Engineering drawings Schematics Assembly documentation Specifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience supporting ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. IPC Certification (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, or IPC/WHMA-A-620). Experience with ERP or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis. Familiarity with ESD controls and electronics manufacturing best practices.
