About

the Role: As a member of the R&amp;D team, your mission will be to reliably maintain the quality of machine vision read rates and software configurations across our network of sites in Canada and the US. You’ll also be a subject matter expert on our proprietary technologies, software and hardware applications, and you will partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and develop solutions to technical issues.&nbsp;&nbsp; Job Accountabilities: <ul> <li>Design, program and implement imaging systems, hardware, and software applications for various applications.&nbsp;</li> <li>Research and evaluate new technologies and methods for improving machine vision image quality, performance, and functionality.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work assigned projects from start to completion.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with engineers, software developers, and customers to understand the

requirements and specifications of the various imaging solutions.&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of our imaging systems and software.&nbsp;</li> <li>Resolve escalated issues as a subject matter expert and support ticket resolution for our customers.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain read rates and configuration performance across our site network.&nbsp;</li> <li>Document designs, architecture, and system integrations as required.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Present solutions and results to both internal and external key stakeholders.&nbsp;</li> <li>Explore, evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency and effectiveness on new and existing product ideas.&nbsp;</li> <li>Apply industry best practices, along with your knowledge and expertise, to execute ideas from concept to delivery, as a member of a collaborative and agile team.&nbsp;</li> </ul> Job

Requirements: <ul> <li>University Degree or diploma in Computer Science, computer engineering or related degree, diploma, and/or applicable work experience.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with image processing and/or optics. Strong knowledge and experience in lighting and imaging principles, machine vision techniques, and algorithms.&nbsp;</li> <li>Proficient in programming languages, such as C, C++, C# and python.&nbsp;</li> <li>Excels at solving problems, are motivated and methodical, and have high attention to detail.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support what you build and understand that building applications is more than just writing code.
