About the role
Support the App Compat charter by determining strategy, planning work, driving cross-team feature work and aligning with internal and external partners. Use data effectively to determine the work needed to ensure in-market customers have few to no compatibility issues. Support our charter to ensure that Windows devices are developed to support compatibility by leading internal education on the value of a compatible OS that results in a highly customer-centric experience. Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive business decisions that lead to high quality OS releases. Determine the best ways to implement AI solutions in all aspects of our work. Provide leadership within a team of Technical Program Managers and Product Managers of diverse levels. Bachelor's Degree AND strong demonstrated experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development. Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Bachelor's Degree AND strong demonstrated experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development. OR equivalent experience. Strong experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos). Excellent track record of cross group collaboration. Ambitious, self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented Prefer 5+ years of program management experience working on OS, embedded systems or similarly deep technological areas.
