About

the role Aspire builds the infrastructure that makes military license portability work across state lines. We help states turn legislation into operational systems — so veterans, military spouses, and servicemembers can use the professional licenses they've already earned without starting over. As a Jr Sales Representative, you'll work alongside the sales and marketing teams to generate leads, support proposal development, and help Aspire build relationships with state agencies. This is a great entry point into govtech sales — you'll learn the landscape while making a direct contribution to a mission that matters.

What you'll do Outreach & Lead Generation Research and identify potential state agency contacts, licensing boards, and government stakeholders. Manage initial outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and phone. RFP Coordination Monitor government procurement portals for relevant RFPs and RFIs. Help assemble proposal responses by coordinating inputs from product, engineering, and operations. CRM Management Maintain accurate pipeline data in the CRM. Track outreach activity, update contact records, and generate reports for the sales team. Marketing Collaboration Work with marketing to develop sales collateral, case study materials, and email campaigns targeted at state decision-makers. Prospect Research Track state legislative developments related to license portability and military affairs. Identify which states are moving on portability mandates and flag opportunities. Event Support Help plan and coordinate Aspire's presence at industry conferences, state government events, and military community gatherings. Data & Reporting Pull weekly pipeline and activity reports. Help

the team understand what's working and where to focus effort.

What we're looking for Research & Organization You're thorough and detail-oriented. You can dig into a state's legislative landscape and come back with a clear picture of the opportunity. Written Communication Strong writing skills for email outreach, proposal contributions, and internal reporting. You can be concise and clear. Initiative You don't wait to be told what to do. You see gaps and fill them. You suggest ideas and follow through. Adaptability Comfortable wearing multiple hats on a small team. Today might be RFP research, tomorrow might be event logistics.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience 1–3 years in a sales, business development, or marketing support role Proficiency with CRM tools, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Interest in govtech, public sector, or military community issues Self-motivated — comfortable working independently in a remote environment
