About the role

Use of AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity, code quality, test coverage, and reliability. Own connector features end-to-end, from functional specification and design through implementation, testing, and deployment. Partner with Data Management and Engine teams to triage complex issues, identify root causes, and drive fixes to completion. Contribute to open-source connectors, SDKs, and integrations for Fabric Eventhouse. Work with partner teams and customers to understand scenarios, address gaps, and deliver end-to-end solutions. Collaborate with engineering teams across geographies, including Israel-based stakeholders, on design and delivery. Partner with Fabric SDK and developer experience teams to improve integration and adoption. Triage customer feedback, requests, and issues, and drive appropriate resolutions. Mentor engineers and contribute to design reviews, code quality, reliability, and engineering best practices. At least 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with solid knowledge in at least two of the following languages: C#, Java, NodeJS, Python, Golang Experience with OSS environments, e.g., Kafka, Logstash, Spark Experience in building big data and algorithm-centric cloud systems. Good familiarity with open-source technologies and practices. Experience in working closely with data mining experts and big data researchers. Experience in working closely with customers on technical proof of concept implementations. Passion for technology and quality with a strong customer focus. Btech/Mtech, MSc./MA, degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
