About the role
Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems within a data center environment, ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance programs Ensure uptime and reliability of critical environment systems through proactive monitoring, maintenance oversight, and risk mitigation Lead operational excellence by executing and governing processes such as maintenance procedures, incident reviews (RCAs), and change management Partner cross-functionally with engineering teams, vendors, and landlord partners to optimize datacenter performance and resolve issues Identify and reduce risk, minimizing human-error and high-impact incidents year over year Support emergency response readiness, acting as an escalation point for facilities-related incidents Deliver efficiency outcomes by advancing cost optimization and energy efficiency initiatives and support data-driven operations through the accurate measurement and reporting of key metrics, including power, temperature, and service-level (SLA) performance Relevant experience in a specialized area (e.g., mechanical field, electrical field, controls field) or related field. This role requires fluency in reading, writing and conversational French and English, as all business operations and stakeholder communications are conducted in these languages You will be required to travel between sites as part of this role so a valid driver's license will be required. requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) Degree OR certification in mechanical or electrical engineering and/or services Experience working on large scale CE projects
