Davis Wright Tremaine (Am Law 96) is hiring a mid-to-senior level employment litigation associate to join its Washington and national employment law practice, based in the Seattle office. The associate will focus on employment defense litigation, handling complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters on behalf of employer-side clients.
DWT is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience (they hire according to the JD year listed), ideally from a large defense firm or a sophisticated boutique handling employment defense. Critically, DWT has broadened this search: they are also open to general litigators willing to pivot into employment law, and candidates open to relocating to Seattle. The Seattle legal market is small, so this expanded scope is a real opportunity for candidates looking to break into a strong employment practice at a well-regarded national firm.
The associate must be a member or pending member of the Washington State Bar.
