At Chariot, we are building modern, end-to-end payment infrastructure making donors' lives easier, and nonprofits' lives better. $500B gets donated to charity each year in the US and the existing technology/infrastructure was still built for our grandparents’ generation. Chariot is here to change that.
Chariot’s engineering hire will be responsible for taking the Chariot platform to the next level. You will lead the evolution of our banking product, DAF product and technology strategy, along with building a growing team of software engineers. You will work closely with the CEO and team of founding engineers to build out a product that can scale to service all the existing and upcoming contracts in our pipeline. The ideal candidate is both forward-thinking and hands-on, has a strong sense of ownership and drive for delivery, and is a good mentor and co-worker. At Chariot, you’ll have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact for nonprofits around the world while working as part of a small, fast-moving team.
Chariot is building the financial infrastructure for the $326 billion donor-advised fund (DAF) market, the fastest-growing segment of philanthropy. Our gift processing platform is an end-to-end solution for managing DAF payments, making it easier for grantmakers to send grant payments and nonprofits to receive, reconcile, and enrich their donation data.
Chariot also powers DAFpay, the industry’s first integrated DAF payment option and a TIME’s Best Invention of 2025. It is embedded on over 100,000 nonprofits’ donation forms—including American Cancer Society, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and University of Pennsylvania—and is a primary payment option on leading fundraising platforms like GoFundMe and GiveButter.
Hundreds of millions are already moving through Chariot’s platform, and we’re just getting started.
