You will be responsible for the following: Leadership and Strategy: o Lead the development and implementation of the company's compliance strategy. o Serve as a key member of the executive team, providing guidance on compliance matters to the CEO and Board of Directors. o Provides strategic direction to all Business & Assurance Compliance Officers, ensuring consistent implementation of regulatory
requirements, compliance policies, and governance standards across the organization. o Reviews and challenges compliance assessments, regulatory clearances, and advisory opinions issued by Business & Assurance Compliance Officers to ensure quality, consistency, and sound regulatory interpretation. o Monitors emerging compliance risks, escalates significant issues to the CCO, and drives timely resolution of regulatory concerns, findings, and compliance commitments across business units. Regulatory Compliance: o Monitor and interpret regulatory changes affecting the fintech industry o Ensure the company's policies and procedures are in compliance with national, international laws and regulations. o Develop and maintain a robust compliance program, including risk assessments, internal controls, and monitoring systems. Policy Development and Implementation: o Draft, review, and update compliance policies and procedures. o Oversee the implementation and enforcement of compliance policies throughout the organization. o Conduct regular training sessions for employees on compliance and regulatory
requirements. Related Party Transaction Review and Monitoring: o Ensure that due diligence and risk assessments on RPTs to identify potential conflicts of interest o Oversee the screening, approval and disclosure process for RPTs, ensuring compliance with governance standards o Ensure accurate and timely reporting of RPTs to the Related Party Transaction Committee and the Board. Corporate Governance Oversight o Ensure compliance with the SEC and BSP governance
requirements o Develop, implement and review governance policies including Board and Committee Charters o Lead corporate governance training for directors, executives and employees Audit and Reporting: o Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulations. o Prepare and present regular compliance reports to senior management and the Board of Directors. o Liaise with regulatory bodies and respond to inquiries, examinations, and investigations. Collaboration and Communication: o Work closely with legal, finance, operations, and other departments to ensure compliance across all business functions. o Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance related issues. o Foster strong relationships with regulatory agencies and industry bodies. Provides strategic direction to all Business & Assurance Compliance Officers, ensuring consistent implementation of regulatory
requirements, compliance policies, and governance standards across the organization. We are looking for: Education: o Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. o Advanced degree (JD, MBA, or equivalent) preferred. Experience: o Minimum of 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or a related role within the financial services or fintech industry. o Proven track record of leadership in a compliance function at the executive level. o Extensive knowledge of financial regulations, including AML, KYC, GDPR, and other relevant laws. Skills: ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. ● High ethical standards and integrity. ● Proficiency in compliance management software and tools.
