We are looking for a Founding Account Executive with 1+ years of experience to be the face of Cardinal for our rapidly growing customer base. You'll be equal parts trusted sales advisor and hands-on customer champion — helping customers design and launch killer outbound workflows on our AI platform while being the person they genuinely look forward to talking to every week. This is a high-impact founding role at one of the fastest-growing B2B startups in SF (0 to $1M ARR in 8 weeks, backed by YC).
What will you be doing?
Onboarding and guiding ~200 customers through building their first outbound workflows, ensuring they hit their "aha moment" fast
Running recurring 15-minute check-ins (weekly or biweekly) with customers to troubleshoot, advise on outbound strategy, and keep them engaged
Acting as a sales-savvy advisor — answering questions like "should I run this sequence?" with real outbound expertise
Closing deals over time as the role evolves into full-cycle sales
Providing product feedback from the front lines to shape Cardinal's roadmap
Key Requirements
Sales experience at a well-known, fast-moving startup (Seed to Series B) — customers need to feel they're talking to someone credible
Extroverted, warm, and genuinely helpful personality — the kind of person customers call their "best friend" at a company
Decisive and execution-oriented — can move fast, field high volume, and no task is beneath them
Comfortable working in-person in SF, Monday–Friday, 9am–9pm
US work authorization required (no visa sponsorship)
