About the role
Banquet is rebuilding the infrastructure for clinical nutrition. We help hospitals deliver safer, more personalized meals while giving staff modern tools that automate complex dietary rules, reduce errors, and improve operational performance. Healthcare is our wedge, with clear expansion opportunities across education, senior living, and enterprise food operations.
You're the person who turns a signed deal into a live, working customer. You'll be the primary (and sometimes only) point of contact through onboarding, sitting in IT and operations meetings, gathering customer data, configuring our system, and making sure everything works before you hand it off.
This isn't a customer success role and it isn't a pure engineering role. You're a scrappy problem-solver who uses AI tools (Claude Code, our internal onboarding skills) to implement configurations, troubleshoot issues, and get customers live.
You're comfortable in a room with an IT director talking printer specs and equally comfortable with a kitchen manager walking through their menu cycle.
You don't need to write production code from scratch. You need to be resourceful, technically literate, and relentless about getting customers to value.
What you'll do
- Own customer onboarding end-to-end. From signed deal to production launch. You're the single point of accountability; frequently setting the agenda, leading the call and owning follow ups.
- Gather and translate customer data. Sit in IT and operational meetings. Collect recipes, order guides, invoices, menus, and EMR/printer ticket formatting requirements. Map all of it into our system.
- Configure and deploy using AI tools. Use Claude Code with our existing onboarding skills to implement customer setups. Work with Terraform or Typescript for EMR/printer formatting.
- Build and maintain RPAs. Create and troubleshoot automations for distributor integrations (US Foods, etc.) to maximize order accuracy.
