Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Department: Product/IT
Reports to: Lead Software Engineer
Location: Remote
Luna Joy is a leading provider of mental health services, specializing in supporting women through their mental wellness journey. We offer holistic therapy and medication management to help women overcome challenges like postpartum mental health issues. Our dedicated team of professionals works in a collaborative, flexible, and remote environment, ensuring comprehensive care for our clients. We are rapidly expanding and committed to improving access to quality mental health services across the U.S.
Founded by Dr. Sipra Laddha and Dr. Shama Rathi, two psychiatrists who saw the gaps in maternal mental health care firsthand, we're building the infrastructure they wished they had.
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with 4+ years of experience to help us build and scale the software that powers our patient and clinician experiences. You'll work closely with our Product, Design, and Clinical teams to bring powerful, user-centered features to life, from onboarding systems to personalized care tools.
This is a high-impact opportunity to join a purpose-driven team building modern health tech from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a purpose-driven environment where you'll directly contribute to our mission of supporting the mental health journeys of one million women. The ideal candidate is adaptable, collaborative, and excited about building scalable, secure, and impactful digital health applications to integrate AI capabilities.
In your first 30 days, you will ship our new automated postpartum screening tool. By day 90, you'll own the migration of our clinician dashboard to a more performant real-time architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
At Luna Joy, we are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where all team members feel valued and respected. We believe that diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives strengthens our ability to support women’s mental health. We encourage individuals from all backgrounds, including those from historically underrepresented groups, to apply and join us in creating a positive impact in our communities. Everyone is welcome at Luna Joy, and we are dedicated to building a work environment where you can thrive and bring your whole self to work.
LunaJoy is building the AI-powered care platform for precision mental health—starting with women. We integrate intelligent automation with specialized clinical services to deliver scalable, life-stage-specific care—from adolescence to pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, miscarriage, perimenopause, and aging. By embedding AI agents into care navigation, triage, and decision support, we reduce costs, accelerate outcomes, and personalize treatment at scale.
Our hybrid care model blends targeted psychotherapy, psychiatric medication management, genetic testing, coaching, and holistic wellness—delivered by a curated workforce of women’s mental health specialists. Through continuous feedback loops, AI segmentation, and predictive insights, LunaJoy is built to scale.
We’re expanding our in-network footprint to make this care accessible across commercial and Medicaid populations—closing equity gaps for women of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those most at risk.
Women are twice as likely to experience mental health conditions, and 3x more likely to endure trauma. Yet the system is still built for the “average” patient—ignoring the biological, emotional, and social complexity of women’s lives. LunaJoy is rearchitecting that system with AI at its core—because when we invest in women’s mental health, entire communities thrive.
