The Role
Bitstack is looking for a Head of Engineering to help scale our engineering organisation as we enter our next phase of growth.
This role is a key leadership position, acting as the bridge between our CTO and our engineering teams. You will be responsible for turning strategy into execution by structuring teams effectively, developing engineering leaders, and ensuring we deliver high-quality outcomes at speed.
You’ll play a central role in building a strong engineering culture, scaling delivery, and helping Bitstack grow into a world-class fintech and crypto product organisation.

Interview Process
Hiring Manager Call (45 min) A deep conversation with our CTO and People Lead focused on your leadership experience, how you’ve driven execution in past teams, and what it looks like to scale engineering in a high-ownership environment.
Technical & Leadership Interview Loop A set of interviews designed to reflect the real work of a Head Engineering, typically including:
Systems Design (60 min) A collaborative discussion to understand how you approach architecture, technical trade-offs, and guiding teams through complex engineering decisions.
Behavioural Interview (60 min) A conversation centered on your experiences, decision-making, and collaboration style. We’ll discuss real-world scenarios to understand how you navigate technical challenges, teamwork, stakeholder interactions, and how you coach and develop high-performing teams.
Team & Org Management Interview (60 min) Focused on how you structure and scale teams, drive predictable delivery, manage cross-functional execution, and translate company strategy into operational outcomes.
